Screws

SCREWS are self-drilling pieces used for fixings. As their name implies, they dig their hole as they go. The main characteristic of the self-drilling is its drill-type tip, which avoids the initial drilling that must be done in the assembly of a screw that is not of this type, providing greater precision in the joining of parts. However, in some cases, a pilot hole smaller than the axis of the screw is recommended so that the screw can be incorporated more easily. The surfaces perforated by the self-drilling can be plastics, thin gauge metal sheets, fiber cement, plastic tiles, and fiberglass, where pre-drilling is required.
