The SSC Sandwich Roof is a highly resistant roof thanks to its double structural sheet design, making it 100% walkable. Its profile features ridges that act as cooling fins, creating a cooler interior temperature. This panel represents a new generation of metal roofs due to its continuous length construction technology, mechanical seaming, and hidden fastening with clips, which prevents perforations in the sheet. It is ideal for low-slope applications and long spans, standing out for being cooler, quieter, and more durable compared to other panels.
With metal roofing made of galvanized steel or galvalume in gauges 24 and 26, it is recommended for projects requiring long lengths. Additionally, its oven-baked polyester paint protects the steel and offers a high-quality finish.
For thermal and acoustic insulation, the Standing Seam Sandwich SSC Roof can be installed with polyurethane, polystyrene, fiberglass, rock wool, or prepex. Sandwich roofs are used to cover spaces from noise and high temperatures. This system is composed of two steel trays interconnected by a thermal and acoustic insulating plate, which can be fiberglass, mineral rock wool, expanded polystyrene, or polyurethane, providing excellent climate control, lightweight, and durability. It allows for wider spacing of supports in the structure.
